Classes Tier List

There are many different classes from which to choose from in Tactics Ogre: Reborn. It is recommended that you experiment with different ones, so you find the one that best suits your playstyle. You will need Classmarks in order to change to another class, and you will obtain these as you play the game, some of which you will need to buy. The Classmarks themselves are consumables which disappear once used.

S-Tier

Lord

How to unlock:

- Lord class can be unlocked only after all the battles at Barnicia are over, and you have chosen not to keep Catiua alive.

Rune Fencer (Valkyrie)

How to unlock:

- Rune Fencer can be purchased at the shop for 250 Goth at any time in the game.

A-Tier

Princess

How to unlock:

- Recruit Catiua normally in Chapter 4

White Knight

How to unlock:

- Once you recruit either Gildas or Mirdyn in Chapter 3, the White Knight class will be unlocked automatically.

Knight Commander

How to unlock:

- Once you recruit Ozma in Chapter 4 Lawful Route, the Knight Commander class will be unlocked automatically.

B-Tier

Ninja (Kunoichi)

How to unlock:

- Ninja class becomes available for purchase at the shop for 500 Goth once you complete battles in Chapter 3. Note that this class can be used only by humans.

Berserker

How to unlock:

- Ninja class becomes available for purchase at the shop for 500 Goth once you complete battles in Chapter 3. Note that this class can be used only by humans.

C-Tier

Warrior

How to unlock:

- Sold in shops from Chapter 1

Archer

How to unlock:

- Sold in shops from Chapter 1

Cleric

How to unlock:

- Sold in shops from Chapter 1

Terror Knight

How to unlock:

- Sold in shops from Chapter 2 or have a chance to drop from exorcised Terror Knight Skeletons or Zombified Terror Knights.

Dragoon

How to unlock:

- Sold in shops from the middle of Chapter 3 or dropped by Dragoon enemies in Chapter 2

Rogue

How to unlock:

- Sold in Deneb's shop from Chapter 4 or dropped or stolen from Rogues.

Fusilier

How to unlock:

- Recruit Lindl to acquire five Classmarks. These are also rare drops from fusiliers.

Beast Tamer

How to unlock:

- Sold in shops from Chapter 2.

Warlock

How to unlock:

- Dropped by witch or warlock enemies.

Necromancer

How to unlock:

- Recruit Cressida to acquire three Classmarks. These are also rare drops from Necromancers in Palace of the Dead.

Lich

How to unlock:

- Use a Ring of the Dead to transform a human while on floor 41 of Palace of the Dead.

Divine Knight

How to unlock:

- Use an Ensanguined Rood on a Ghost or a Skeleton while on floor three of San Bronsa Ruins.
