Best Melee Weapons

The best melee weapons in Tactics Ogre: Reborn are daggers due to their light weight and damage scaling, daggers can be dual wielded by a number of unique characters and also receive high damage bonuses from your DEX stat compared to every other weapon type. You may also want to consider the one-handed katanas which are also light-weight and can be dual wielded by generics or hammers which can inflict crushing damage and are a good AoE finisher.

Best Ranged Weapons

The best ranged weapons in Tactics Ogre: Reborn are bows which are can kill an enemy from halfway across the battlefield in 1 hit. Crossbows are also particularly effective and have awesome finishers. AoE at level 2, and three-hit at level 6. Crossbows are best used by the vartan class.
