How to Get the Mysterious Key

The Mysterious Key is a drop from Jonah, one of the last bosses you encounter in Rogue Legacy 2. You will find Jonah in the Garden of Eden which can be accessed via the Citadel Agartha biome. This highly mobile boss is tricky to defeat, he avoids attacks with dashes, and is capable of teleportation. The best strategy to employ is to use ranged attacks once he jumps onto the tree, and use your melee weapon whenever he gets close to you. Once you manage to defeat Jonah you need to go to Castle Hamson and fight Cain Prime who is another boss. When you have defeated Cain prime return to Jonah and speak to him again, and he will give you the key.

Where to Use the Mysterious Key

Follow the steps below to get to the location where you use the Mysterous Key.

Step 1
Go back to the Tutorial zone.

Step 2
Reach the eastern tower.

Step 3
Use platforms to climb up to the very top.

Step 4
Jump off to your left.

Step 5
Land on the snowy roof of a structure below.

Step 6
Find a small campfire and drop underneath it.

Step 7
Go to your right through an invisible tunnel until you reach the prompt to open the door.

Step 8
Drop to the very bottom in the next room.



Step 9
Use the Mysterious Key to open the door on the bottom.

Opening the door gives you access to a hidden room where you will find several of Eupraxia's Notes, revealing more of the game's lore. You will also find the Divergent Dimensions Scar, which requires you to battle the mind and eyes of the Rebellion.
