Don't Forget House Rules

Rogue Legacy 2 has an assist feature called 'House Rules' which can make the game easier for new players by allowing you to move a variety of sliders that will enable you to strengthen yourself, weaken enemies, or make certain maneuvers easier to execute. Take a few extra seconds to see if there are any cracks in the walls once you have cleared a room of enemies as this inidcates a secret area. If you come across any cracks hit them with magic to open them up and claim the treasue that is hidden inside.

Break Objects for Rewards

In Rogue Legacy 2 it is not necessary to fight and defeat every enemy you encounter in the hope that you get a gold drop or some food to heal you. An easier way to get those same rewards is by breaking objects. Only fight when you have to, such as when you are trying to complete a Fairy Chest Challenge that requires combat.

Special Dungeons

Keep an eye out for Heirlooms in Rogue Legacy 2 as they enable you to enter a special dungeon when you approach them. Heirlooms look like statues, and they are important for progressions. Like upgrades, they only need to be unlocked once to be available to all characters.
