As you progress through the missions in Rogue Legacy 2 you will begin to accumulate a large amount of gold coins and trying to hang onto this cash will become a challenge. This How to Unlock the Living Safe guide will tell you how to find and use Living Safe's to safekeep all your cash, so you can move up the ranks easier.

Unlike the first game, Rogue Legacy 2 has an option that enables you to place your loot in a Living Safe to safekeep it. This is very useful when you consider that this is a roguelike game that requires you to start from scratch after every failure. Being able to save large amounts of cash for future missions is beneficial as it will help you considerably when you are forced to begin again and want to purchase something major from the store that is expensive.

There are however a few prerequisites that must be met in order to unlock the Living Safe. The first thing you will need to do is unlock the Ranger class. In order to do so you will need to work your way through the available skill tree until you reach Rangers and an option as an heir. Next, you will need to upgrade your health at the Mess Hall, this is also connected to the skill tree but further along and will cost you a few more gold coins to get there. Once it is unlocked you will be given the option to activate the Living Safe. There is no amount to how much cash you can keep in it, so you can keep as little or as much as you want for safekeeping.
