In Nioh 2 Kodamas are little creatures that come in green and purple variants that are scattered throughout the game. Check out our What are Kodamas guide to find out more about this character and how they can give you Elixirs and help you clear your inventory of useless items.
You will find green Kodamas at Shrines either in plain site or hiding in wooden crates that you must destroy to see them. The benefit of collecting green Kodamas is that for every 5 you find in a region will gives you 1 free Elixir on respawn. This will enable you to increase your default Elixirs from 3 to 8 and make the bosses a lot easier to defeat as you will be able to heal yourself more often. The purple Kordamas are Sudama, they are a corrupted form of Kodama that can be found near places affected by Yokai Realm. Sudama are a business-orientated little creature that you can trade with. To interact with this creature so you trade with it you must open up your inventory and drop an item, which can literally be anything, in front of it and the creature will take it away from you in exchange for a few new pickups. The rarity of the items the Kodama gives you is determined by what you serve up as part of the trade. If you offer rare items they will yield a better result.
