In Metro Exodus there are certain buildings that can be found that serve as mini safe havens and allow you to recuperate. These hideouts will have beds that can be slept in and doing so will change day to night and vice versa. When you enter a hideout it will automatically be added to your map, you do not have to sleep inside them. There are seven hideouts in the Volga and one in the Caspian Sea which is located in the eastern part of the map.
