How to Gain Access to Secret XP Cubes

A frequently asked question in Marvel Alliance 3: The Black Order is 'How to Gain Access to Secret XP Cubes'. This page will tell you what XP cubes are, where to find them, and how to use them.

The glimmering orange boxes scattered throughout each of the levels in the game are XP cubes which when broken will instantly add XP to heroes in your team. XP cubes will also give you essential materials for levelling up and adding enhancements. The best way to get them is to play Infinity Trials mode.

XP cubes are easy to spot and can be found regularly out in the open. Some though will be hidden behind locked doors, paintings and walls that emit the same glimmering glow as the boxes. To gain access to these secret XP cubes you have to approach them and look at the two symbols and perform a synergy attack that utilises both of those ability styles. If you find that you need a certain skill you will be able to swap characters.

To use XP cubes to instantly add XP to heroes in your team you need to go to the main menu and select 'Team'. You then need to choose a hero with A and press Y to use XP cubes. In total there are five different types of XP cubes, each of which will add a different amount of XP to the designated hero. The amount will depend on the hero you are playing as.

Below are the five different types of XP cubes and the amount of XP you can expect to get from each of them.

• Small XP Cube - 1,000

• Solid XP Cube - 3,000

• Enhanced XP Cube - 5,000

• Cosmic XP Cube - 10,000

• Ultimate XP Cube - 15,000
