These are the extra missions posted on the Canvas of Prayers message boards which are found in various locations throughout the game. To take up a quest, simply find Chocolina and speak to her to open up the list of available quests to complete. Here are all 13 available global quests.Also note that completing the three Roadworks quests (Day 9) allows you to travel between continents in Nova Chrysalia on foot, and thereby fulfills the requirement for the Globetrotter trophy.

Info on how to complete each request, organized according to the numbers before the quest titles.
01 - Need: 1x Beloved's Gift. Go Aryas Hill Ruins southwest of Wild Lands and run to the end of the bridge connecting the Wild Lands and Dead Dunes. This item is in the treasure sphere there.
02 - Here you have to examine the gates sealing off the bridges to the northwest of Luxerion and southwest of the Wild Lands. This task ends after you've unlocked both gates.
03 - You need the two keys first. The Key to the Sand Gate is in a treasure sphere at the Oasis Lighthouse in the Dead Dunes and the Key to the Green Gate is found in Aryas Hill Ruins.
04 - Again, you need two items: Bandit's Bloodseal which is in the Holy Sanctuary in the Dead Dunes, and the Oath of the Merchants Guild which is found in Yusnaan's Underground Route.
05 - Need: 1x Proof of Courage. Found as shiny red object on the ground in Luxerion's Holy District between 12 AM to 6 AM.
06 - Need: 1x Violet Amulet. Found in Luxerion's Pilgrim's Passage near the Clock Tower.
07 - Need: 1x Lapis Lazuli. Found behind bushes near hotel in Yusnaan's Reveler's Quarter.
08 - Need: 1x Power Booster. Found as a shiny red object on the floor of Yusnaan's Industrial District between 11 AM to 4 PM.
09 - Need: 1x Moogle Dust. Found in Moogle Village, which is in Jagd Woods, The Wild Lands.
10 - Need: 1x Old-Fashioned Photo Frame. Found behind Sorcery shop and Forge at Research Camp in the Wild Lands.
11 - Need: 1x Etro's Forbidden Tome. Found in Poltae Village, by door of one of the houses.
12 - Need: 1x Broken Gyroscope. Found below Sazh House in Wild Lands Crash Site.
13 - Need: 1x Golden Scarab. Found in Dead Dunes Temple Ruins, Scorched Earth Upper Level.
