Last Updated:

At first glance, your Starter Partner Pokemon might not seem all that different than a regular Pikachu. Sure, it will stay outside of its Poke Ball and travel on top of your trainer in the overworld, jumping off your trainer whenever it enters battle. As it first appears, that seems about the extent of how different it actually is. However, believe it or not, your Starter Partner Pokemon is much more unique than you might think!

To start, its Stats are actually much better than a regular Pikachu, having a surplus of exactly 110 Base Power Points. To add to this, your Starter Partner Pokemon will have maximum Individual Values, meaning it can be as strong as it possibly can be at full potential. Your Starter Partner Pokemon will also learn all the previous HM Moves during your journey without using up any of its Move Slots, and it will also find hidden Items in the overworld and will alert your trainer by wagging its tail when it does. Furthermore, your Starter Partner Pokemon can be fully customized with the outfits of your choosing!
