How Do Capturing Mechanics Work

Last Updated:
Much like how Wild Pokemon Encounters found in this game replicate that of Pokemon GO, so the same can be said about the Capturing Mechanics also found within the game. In past Mainstream Pokemon Games, players would have to battle Wild Pokemon they encounter in order to lower their Hit Points to make them easier to capture. Now, players no longer have to battle any Pokemon outside of battle with another trainer.

Instead, all players now have to do is throw Poke Balls at a Wild Pokemon in order to capture it. The better the throw and better the type of Poke Ball used, the higher the odds of capturing a Wild Pokemon. Furthermore, Berries can be used to make Wild Pokemon easier to catch, to slow down a Pokemon's movements in an encounter, and to increase the odds of earning Items when catching said Pokemon.
