How To Farm Berries

Last Updated:
If you're looking to obtain loads and loads of Berries on your journey, you actually don't have to exert all that much effort. The best known way to farm Berries is by catching tons of Wild Pokemon and to do so with awesome throws, since you will have a higher chance of earning Berries as your Catch Item Rewards. By completing Catch Combos, you will also increase your likelihood of earn more and more Catch Item Rewards, which, in turn, should provide you with even more Berries.

Finally, a few areas in the game are loaded with Berries. The first is Route 17, which has loads of berries hidden within the number of flower patches. Of course, since they are hidden Items, these berries will reappear in the same areas on a daily basis. Also, on Route 23 past a number of the Gym Badge Checkpoints, you will find extremely rare Golden Versions of each type of Berry. These, unfortunately, don't Respawn on a daily basis. However, the ones that can randomly be found in the sparkling spots within Cerulean Cave do (and they respawn within minutes)!
