How To Defeat Elite Four Lorelei

Last Updated:

The Elite Four, as the name might suggest, is comprised of four Elite Trainers, some of the best found in the entire Kanto Region. In order to become the Kanto Region Champion, you must first defeat all four Elite Four Members in battle, consecutively no less. The first member of the Elite Four is none other than Lorelei, who you've come across a few times during your journey thus far.

Lorelei specializes in Ice Type Pokemon, but most of her Pokemon will also be part Water Types as well. All of her Pokemon will be at Level 51, except for her Lapras that will be at Level 52. In all, she will battle using Dewgong, Jynx, Cloyster, Slowbro and Lapras. As mentioned, since most of these Pokemon are part Water Types, it would be wise to have at least one Electric Type Pokemon on your Pokemon Team since her Pokemon are extremely weak against them. Steel Type Pokemon will also do well against Lorelei since Ice Types are weak to their Steel Type Attacks.

Magneton, specifically, is one Pokemon that comes to mind that does wonders against Lorelei. Magneton is both an Electric Type and Steel Type Pokemon, meaning it has attacks of both of these types, the same that both Ice and Water Pokemon are weak against. Magnemite and Magneton can be found throughout the Power Plant.
