The Terrace of Forked Tongues

This section introduces us to a new function of pressure plates which you put weight on to trigger objects. Before moving along, Get the sapphire from a well hidden pot behind a rock in the background.

Step on the pressure plate to lower the platform and get on it. Leaving the pressure plate raises the platform again. Get the spear and kill the two snakes which are near you. The snake across the gap is sitting on a pressure plate. Only kill it when you are standing on the white platform. Killing it will cause the pressure plate to be depressed. You will be stuck and in need of a restart if you didn't get across. Before entering the next area, take the sapphire from the pot to the right near the door. Continue to the next area.

Here you will immediately four snakes. Make your way to the platform on the right. Step on it to move the orange platform with two of the snakes on it. Also when you move the platform, it will reveal a pot underneath it that contains a Frozen Spider fragment.

Grab it and kill the two snakes on the orange platform. The platform will move back to its original position. Get the spear and throw it at the single snake on the right. Grab the spear and throw it at the snake that is behind the other snake. Now kill the remaining snake to lower the green platforms. Since one snake is guarding the other path, go around him and head to the exit.

This next area will show you spiders triggering some platforms. Grab the spear and move back once. Then continue on towards crossing the platform. When you get on the orange platform, it will move and bring a hidden pot in view hidden behind the cracked rock. This contains a sapphire.

Continue forward and the spider should trigger the gray platform. Leading you to the exit. Head to the next section.
