The Doorstep of Spirits

Here a new mechanic is introduced. A torch. The various beasties you have come across have a fear of fire. So approach one and grab a torch. Torches disappear when you climb. Grab a torch and go and kill the snake straight-up. When you kill it, look at the far background on the right side of the screen. There is a pot far away that contains a ruby.

go on up the wall and get another torch. Scare the snake onto the gray pressure plate to continue.

Before you move, collect the ruby from the pot in the far background. It is located just under the next exit's door.

Head on down and kill the snake by going around it and hit the lever it is guarding. Grab a torch and make your way to the right-most snake and kill it. DO NOT kill the other snake yet. Head down and grab the spear. Head back up and kill the snake on the gray platform. Grab a torch and scare the snake onto the gray platform. Head to the next area.

Before you climb up, there is a hidden pot containing a Blood Salamander fragment behind a very far background rock formation. It is at around 2 o'clock of the screen.

Climb up and go grab the torch. Immediately go scare the lizard and push it into the gray platform this will cause the platform to rise. Move forward and don't kill any snake yet. Kill the left most snake by killing it from its side NOT the front since he will cause the crack to become unstable. Go and grab the spear and stand on the crack at the corner, and kill the snake near the other crack. Then, with your torch, scare the other snake onto the gray platform which will then give you a clear path to the next area.

First, pull the middle pillar once. Then the push the left most pillar up once. Then go around the middle pillar and push it to the node just after the entrance. Then pull the top pillar downward once. Go to that same pillars side and pull it to the middle. Go and kill the right most snake. Pull the right most pillar once and then push the middle pillar towards the gray platform. Pull the right most pillar once. Push the right pillar on the gray pressure plate. Now get the two remaining pillars and put them both on the upper left corner to help you get across. Climb the gray platform and grab a torch. From up here, you can see a pot in the distance containing a ruby.

Kill the snake and head over to the exit. The snake won't bother you because of the torch.
