Head out the cavern you fall in and take whichever path you want. There doesn't seem to be any difference in this first junction. Keep going straight till you come into another junction. Take the path on the left. go on until you flip a lever. You will get back to the junction with another path now opened to the side of the left path. Continue along the linear path until you come to a cavern with red fog underneath. In this area, multiple pillars rise up when you step on the end of a pillar path. There are no consequences in this area but the correct path is going a counter-clockwise route around the bottom then going back towards the front to raise the necessary pillars.
