The game begins with monsters invading your castle, and you are tasked with fighting them off. to do this, simply tap the 'Fight' button and let the game take its course. You will then have another chance to fight, and this time are required to use a Special Attack by tapping the sword icon in the corner of the screen. Be sure to collect the Earth Shards that are dropped after the fight. These can be used to craft armor in the future.

With that done, you can customize your character. Change gender by tapping the blue man or the pink woman icon.You are able to select their name, or choose a Random one from a preset list. You can also change skin color, eye color, hairstyle and hair color. You're bound to come across other players who have the same character as you, but you can still try to give them a bit of personality. Once you're happy with it, tap to continue.

You are then introduced to two characters, Gwen and Artie. Buy the Expansion as instructed and spend some gems to speed up the wait (note that unlike some games you don't have a choice here, you have to spend Gems in this particular case to proceed). You can then enter the shop and tap the Buildings tab, before selecting the Fusion Master and placing it in the newly open expansion.

Tap the Forge and follow the instructions to create your first set of armor from the Earth Shards we picked up earlier. Then, tap the Forge Master and Enhance your armor by following the instructions.
