Added:

There are always tournaments going on in knights and dragons, taking place in the game's arena mode. These are effectively timed events whereby the player who performs the best in that time ends up as the winner. Depending on your own performance, you will receive rewards at the end of the tournament.

On the main Arena screen you are given choices of who to battle against. You can see someone's tournament performance indicated by the sword icon, and their tournament ranking by the physical number shown. You are able to choose who to fight based on this, so it's a good idea not to go up against anyone significantly better than yourself. Obviously someone ranked at 0 may simply not have got around to fighting in the tournament yet, so the numbers themselves are not a cast-iron guarantee of the quality of your opponent.

The Arena is PvP, which stands for player versus player. This means you are fighting against the knights of real players, although they are not in control of them at the time. If someone fights your knights and wins, they will appear on the Arena with the Revenge icon next to them. Beat them in retaliation (which is usually quite a hard feat as they are likely to have significantly better knights than you) and you get greater rewards.

At the end of a tounament, you receive your bounty - this is in addition to anything you earned along the way

TIP: If you are fighting similarly matched knights, it is worth saving up your Special Attack. The opposition is controlled by the AI, despite being the knights of human players. This means they always use their Special Attack as soon as possible. Rather than doing this, which can result it it being used when the target only has a little health left, effectively wasting most of the damage, save it for crucial moments to get the win.

You always receive rewards for fighting in the Arena, even if you lose, but obviously these are greater when the outcome is positive. You are also able to 'double down', which means you risk your winnings from the previous bout on the outcome of the next one, which can result in huge rewards if you do it successfully and repeatedly.

Usually the opponent list is people around my level, but their ranking in the tournament is widely scattered (could be over 100,000 points diference) . But sometimes the opponent list switches and only shows people very close to me in ranking (perhaps within 100) who are usually vastly more powerful then my level 25 knights. Why does the list change? And do I have any control over it?
