Questing Basics

Thank you for printing this page from Remember to come back to check for updates to this guide and much more content for Knights & Dragons: Rise of the Dark Prince
Last Updated:

The bulk of knights and dragons is single-player questing, though you can 'recruit' friends to assist you in combat. Initially you have just one area that you can fight in, the Relic Ruins. After you beat one area on the 'Epic' difficulty and defeat its boss, you unlock the next one.

Each of the initial few areas has just one element represented in its enemies. This allows you to pick three knights (once you have unlocked them) of the same type, or wearing the same armor, and generally makes things much easier. As you progress through the game, you will face a variety of elements at each stage, and so will have to think more carefully about the knights that you choose to take with you.

Defeat all the enemies to move on to the next section of each stage

Every stage consists of a number of levels and a boss at the end. On the Epic difficulty, the boss tends to be pretty tough to beat. The boss is typically much harder to kill than other enemies but if you are able to destroy it using a Special Attack, you will receive resources to construct uncommon armor.

In addition to this, if you use a Special Attack to destroy a regular enemy, you will always receive resources to craft common armor.

TIP: If you are running low on resources for common or uncommon armor, feel free to play a stage on the easiest difficulty and save your Special Attacks for key moments, either taking out regular enemies or defeating the final boss - regardless of the difficulty, you will always receive resources for armor crafting from Special Attack K.O.s.
