Below you will find a list of all the buildings that you can construct in knights and dragons. The vast majority of these are designed for gold generation, and in these cases you will see the amount of Gold per hour each one produces, the total amount of Gold it can hold, its cost, and finally the amount of time before the building reaches capacity.
The reason this information is provided is because it is important not to leave too many buildings full with Gold for hours on end - as you are effectively wasting their production capabilities. If you only visit the game once a day, choose buildings with high maximum capacities.
Note that all buildings can be upgraded. The statistics listed below are for the first stage of this. Normally you can upgrade once using Gold, then a further time with gems.
The Armorsmith is the basic building where you craft armor. You can find out more about exactly how to do this in the Armor section. The cost of the Armorsmith varies as you buy more of them - the first one is purchased during the Tutorial section.
NOTE: It is definitely worth purchasing multiple Armorsmiths, as this will be essential for building up enough armor to use them effectively at the Fusion Master, for combining and Enhancing Armor.
The Cathedral is a gold production building. It costs 1,000 Gold and produces 500 Gold per hour. It has a maximum Gold capacity of 500.
Gold: 500 per hour
Capacity: 500 Gold
Cost: 1,000 Gold
Time to Maximum Capacity: 1 hour
TIP: The Cathedral is a good building for earning a lot of Gold in a short amount of time. So if you are usually hanging around in knights and dragons waiting for Energy to refill, or for health to recharge, then the Cathedral will earn you lots while you wait. It is not good for players who spend a lot of time away from the game and return hoping to get lots of Gold, as it is capped at a lowly 500 Gold.
The Crystal Conservatory is a gold production structure that generates 800 Gold per hour and has a maximum of 400 Gold. They cost 15,000 Gold each.
Gold: 800 per hour
Capacity: 400 Gold
Cost: 15,000 Gold
Time to Maximum Capacity: 18 hours
TIP: As you may have realized, the Crystal Conservatory actually generates more Gold per hour than it can feasibly hold! This means it is a good building for generating Gold while you are in the game, or over short periods, but you have to regularly empty its storage to be able to make the most of that high Gold per hour figure.
The Dungeon is a Gold production building which costs 30,000 Gold, earns 450 Gold per hour, and has a maximum capacity of 9,000 Gold.
Gold: 450 per hour
Capacity: 9,000 Gold
Cost: 30,000 Gold
Time to Maximum Capacity: 20 hours
TIP: With the Dungeon, you can leave the game unattended for 20 hours before it reaches its 9,000 Gold capacity. Bear this in mind when decided whether to shell out the expensive asking price. It is a good building for those players who may only visit their knights and dragons kingdom once or twice a day.
Your first Fountain is gained during the game's Tutorial. It costs a meager 100 Gold, generates 600 Gold per hour and has a lowly 50 Gold maximum capacity.
Gold: 600 per hour
Capacity: 50 Gold
Cost: 100 Gold
Time to Maximum Capacity: 5 minutes
TIP: The Fountain is designed as a cheap way to get lots of Gold for players who love to sit in knights and dragons all day. It has the third-highest gold per hour ratio, yet is the cheapest building in the game. This is because after just 5 minutes, the Fountain reaches its maximum capacity of 50. You have to be frequently tapping it (every 5 minutes) to get the most out of it. But hey, it's only cheap!
The Guard Tower earns 167 Gold per hour, has a 2,000 Gold maximum, and costs just 300 Gold.
Gold: 167 per hour
Capacity: 2,000 Gold
Cost: 300 Gold
Time to Maximum Capacity: 12 hours
TIP: The Guard Tower earns a reasonable amount of Gold per hour and has a sensible capacity. You earn its maximum 2,000 Gold in around 12 hours.
The Monster Nest costs an eye-watering 100,000 Gold, earns 750 Gold per hour, and has a maximum Gold capacity of 1,500.
Gold: 750 per hour
Capacity: 1,500 Gold
Cost: 100,000 Gold
Time to Maximum Capacity: 2 hours
TIP: The Monster Nest earns the most Gold per hour of any building in the game, but will be at maximum capacity after just 2 hours. As a result, it's one for those players who are in the game more often than not - rather than those who just visit knights and dragons once or twice a day.
The Tavern is reasonably priced at 7,500 Gold, has a maximum capacity of 1,900 Gold and generates 475 Gold per hour.
Gold: 475 per hour
Capacity: 1,900 Gold
Cost: 7,500 Gold
Time to Maximum Capacity: 4 hours
TIP: The Tavern is another good building for people wanting gold generated while they wait, while questing or in the Arena. It will be full up after four hours, so if you make lots of regular visits to the game each day, it's a good choice for the bulk of your Gold production.
The Training Field costs 50,000 Gold, so it quite expensive. However, it also generates 1,167 Gold per hour and has a maximum of 14,000 Gold. As a result, it is one of the best structures in the game for gold generation.
Cost: 1,167 per hour
Capacity: 14,000 Gold
Cost: 50,000 Gold
Time to Maximum Capacity: 12 hours
TIP: The Training Field reaches its capacity after 12 hours, but that capacity is a whopping 14,000 Gold. If you visit knights and dragons a couple of times each day, build loads of these and you can have a substantial windfall every time you log in.

I'm going for a final layout of: 11 Training Fields (T3), 4 Armorsmiths (T3), and 1 Dungeon (T3). Choosing Dungeon over Monster Nest for obvious reason, being that I'm collecting on max capacity.
I'm going for a final layout of: 11 Training Fields (T3), 4 Armorsmiths (T3), and 1 Dungeon (T3). Choosing Dungeon over Monster Nest since its obvious I'm going for the Max Capacity collection.
27 dungeons at level 2 at max capacity will generate 283, 500. 10,500 max each.
Im sitting on 15 training grounds i log in for 3 days every 12 hour and im around 5.6 million
I dont think that is a good idea to spend gems in fountains because the gems could be used to open rare chests. And colects exclusive armors.
Ofcourse the monster nest give us a litle bit more money than the Training fields, but when we are sleeping or studing they continue to acumulate money.
The diference is not so big.
So, for a long time player, the training fields will be more efective because we have to sleep a litle, hehehehe.
It is a ratio. It takes only one space compared to the Training Fields two spaces. So for the space of 1, 167 GPH you could have 1500 GPH.
"The Monster Nest earns the most Gold per hour of any building in the game" is fairly false; considering the Training Field has a 1,167 an hour..
