Added:

1. Mind the cool-down sequence of each skill every hero has. Depending on the mission and situation, some skills tend to take to long to cool-down to be even effective at all.

2. Different heroes tend to have different durability and agility as well. Though the game does not have any means to pDiplorovide factual data on this, it is very apparent that they handle attacks and damage differently. Some are more lenient to receiving attacks and act like tanks, while other heroes are inclined to rely on their special abilities to help.

3. Never fixate or wait for your resources to come. Use your ground troops to scour the nearby areas as the game tend to throw lots of extra resources along the way.

4. Be mndful of the number of enemies you can handle at a time. Never hesitate to fall back and regroup in order to recuperate some of your lost HP. you may choose to bait some enemies towards your group, and obliterate a fraction of them at a time.

5. Diplomats are a huge advantage as they generate protective shields to all allies in their proximity. Keep them guarded when patrolling as they tend to go in front of the pack when directing the group to a location.

6. Passive skills in the skill tree (wrench icon in the main hub) can be reset any time in the game and recover all your spent tech points. You can experiment on specific skills to see how they exactly benefit the recruits. If you have a particular combination of recruits (like engineers and diplomats in our case), plan on how you could arrive to the specific skills beneficial to them the cheapest way.

7. You may reset a hero's distribution of skill upgrade as well. Each hero earn 3 points of upgrade every time they level up. And though each of their skill are hugely different from another, you may always reset them to check out which options would benefit you most.

8. Use replicant mines pre-emptively. If you are planning on luring out a pack of enemies, set your replicant mines ahead of time so that each would replicate to its maximum of 4 copies. Situate them on narrow passages, where the enemies would surely trigger them. It is relatively cheap yet very effective.

9. Check the achievement list of any required bonus stunt in your current mission. Some requirements will simply prohibit you from purchasing a specific recruit, and other similar simple stuff within the mission, and sometimes the complete opposite of that requirement. Re-do the missions for the extra achievement bonus, as well as for the tech point to earn.

10. Prioritize on the shield generator. Prior to beefing up your towers, it is in your best interest to upgrade on defense as it is cheap and is beneficial to all structures in proximity compared to just upgrading one specific tower.

11. There is also a passive skill that boosts the shield generator's defense. Check on that skill and upgrade it to all its tier levels.

12. The dropgun (minigun turret) deals and additional entry damage to those in proximity as it is summoned and smacks into the ground. Use this knowledge so that whenever you summon it, find a spot where it could potentially deliver damage to a bigger chunk of enemies. Additionally, the entry damage can also be upgraded in the passive skill tree.
