Can you get a divorce with children in the family?

So I married a couple and they had two boys, there preteen's. I moved the mom to her friends house and the dad to his lover. Now the two boys live on their own...how do I fix this???

I think it depends on who owns the house that your family is living in, for example, one of my families is living in the husbands house because after they got married, I moved the wife into his house..but I skiped that goal cause I didn't want to divorce anyone :P but if it turns out wrong, make the child visit the other parent :D hope this helped

I have 2 toddlers and I reached the divorce goal and no nothing happens the Children stay put and parents stay put unless you want to move them so don't worry...

I can't divorcee my sim . One will get divorced but the other says still married what do I do.? Please help . Frustrated

If you divorce a couple do you definitely get to choose who the child (in my case toddler) gets to go with? I don't want to divorce the couple and then the child is with the wrong parent. Can you also change who is looking after the child in the future if you want to?

Well how do you choose a child because my Sims got divorced and one of them got married to another sims so how do I choose I have two infants

Yes you can get one of your Children what you do is you make them complain then you divorce them wich takes 12 seconds
Then you delete both of the parents and send your child or Children to a married couple in your town you make him or her make good friends with them then you click on them and it will say ask to adopt this child then you click on it and they talk and the child's last name will change to the married couples last name

When the Mother gets divorced to the childs Father, can the Father still see the child? Can the mother re- marry a local from the town? Can Sims kill eachother?

Yes you could my Sims just had a little baby girl and then I divorced them right after now I have a single mom YAY I'm not sure if you can have 2nd spouses though sorry

The person who originally lived in the house where they married couple were living keeps the child/ Children.
