End of the World

End of the World

Theme Music: End of the World
Battle Music: Fragments of Sorrow

It really is a moot point to do anything else in the game before coming here. You cant complete the Ultima Weapon until you have some Gale, which can only be gotten here. Further, the Ultima Weapon isn't required, but it makes the Hades Cup at the Coliseum way easier, as it does the Optional Bosses. Don't worry, we'll break before the final fight and I'll cover everything you need to do before completing the world to claim 100%.

Rinse and Repeat

Enemies: Invisible, Darkball, Angel Star, Shadow, Behemoth
Sub-boss: Chernabog
Boss: Ansem
Items: Power Up x2, Defense Up x2, Megalixir x5, AP Up, Omega Arts,
Angel Bangle, Three Stars, Dark Ring, Brave Warrior,
Ifrit's Horn, Inferno Band, White Fang, Ray of Light,
       Holy Circlet, Raven's Claw
Save Points: 4 (3-A, 1-B)

--== End of the World: Gate to the Dark ==--

It looks wide and open, but this area has a bunch of invisible walls surrounding the area. It's almost a maze. Around most chests is an enemy sphere that is full of new enemies to fight. These spheres drop down on you and you're trapped within till you clear out all the enemies. I drewded you a map:

Gate to the Dark

--== End of the World: Giant Crevasse ==--

After fighting the last Behemoth, you end up here. This area has five Gummi blocks in it, though by now you shouldn't have any need for them as you should have rescued all the Dalmatians. But, for the sake of completion:

Jump off and glide forward, following the wall next to you. It's behind some crystals (Haste2-G)

Fall down a ways. Look for a chest on the left side (Ultima-G)

Turn about the way you came. Look for a ramp that bridges the two sides of the crevasse. Land on it and follow it up to the next chest (Esuna-G)

Keep following the ramp up, past where you have to shimmy. Jump up on a few platforms overhead. It should be across the crevasse from where you are (Haste-G)

The final chest is near the ground. Fall off and down quite a ways, then glide and start following the opposite wall till you see it. It's right near the save point (Thundara-G)

If you fall off at any point, look for vines near the ground you can climb up. When you're done goofing off, jump in the blue vortex near the save point at the bottom (not the absolute bottom!).

--== End of the World: World Terminus ==--

Terminal

The World Terminus is how the Heartless invade worlds, it seems, though the name of the area means “World End” so, yeah. They are able to travel through these portals into all the worlds you've visited so far.

To clear this area, you must enter the magic geyser in the center, clear all the enemies inside, grab your prize in the chest, exit, and enter the blue sphere that leads to the next terminal.

Traverse Town
Enemies: Large Body, Soldier
Item: Brave Warrior
Exit: Door to First District

Wonderland
Enemies: Red Nocturne, Green Requiem, Blue Rhapsody,
         Yellow Opera, Wizard,
Item: Ifrit's Horn
Exit: Door to Bizarre Room

Coliseum
Enemies: Air Soldier, Defender, Wyvern
Item: Inferno Band (behind a statues foot)
Exit: World Exit

Deep Jungle
Enemies: Powerwild, Bouncywild
Item: White Fang
Exit: Camp

Agrabah
Enemies: Bandit, Fat Bandit
Item: Ray of Light (up on a ledge in the Palace Gates area)
Exit: Desert

Atlantica
Enemies: Sea Neon, Sheltering Zone, Screwdiver, Aquatank
Item: AP Up
Exit: Follow the Trident

Halloween Town
Enemies: Wright Knight, Gargoyle, Search Ghost
Item: Holy Circlet
Exit: Only door

Neverland
Enemies: Pirate, Barrel Spider
Item: Raven's Claw
Exit: Brig door (behind where you started)

- This one is weird. Climb the ladder and enter the only open door. Defeat the enemies and exit out. Enter the other door that is now open and claim your chest. Jump up on the shelf and jump through the right hand hole in the roof. Defeat the enemies, and fall all the way back to where you started.

100 Acre Wood
Enemies: None
Item: Megalixir
Exit: Wonder too far in any direction

You can save in the 100 Acre Wood. The next terminal takes you to an unknown area of Hollow Bastion. You will fight a few Invisibles, and a door will open that leads to a large machine. Examine it to get the following message:

Ones born of the heart and darkness, devoid of hearts, ravage all worlds and bring desolation. Seize all hearts and consummate the great heart. All hearts to be one, one heart to encompass all. Realize the destiny: the realm of Kingdom Hearts. The great darkness sealed within the great heart. Progeny of darkness, come back to the eternal darkness.

For the heart of light shall unseal the path.

Seven hearts, one keyhole, one key to the door.

The door of darkness, tied by two keys.

The door of darkness to seal the light

None shall pass but shadows, returning to the darkness.

Ones born of the heart and darkness, hunger for every heart until the dark door opens.

The door then re-opens and allows you to exit. Go back out the way you came. The flame pillar will have turned into a vortex. The next room is the sub-boss battle, so you might want to go back and save before jumping in the vortex.

--== End of the World: Evil Grounds ==--

--== Sub-boss: Chernabog ==--

Chernabog played the being representing all evil in Disney's Fantasia.

Strategy:
Fighting him is like fighting Ursula in her giant form, only less deadly. Lock on to his head and slice away. He only has a few attacks that can actually hit you, and that is his Fire Breath, Heat Up, and Gust. Fire Breath he slowing turns his head while breathing fire. Heat Up, a massive pillar of fire engulfs the area doing mild damage. Gust is where he pushes everyone back to the edges of the area. If you're a little farther away, he does have some nastier attacks that involve throwing balls of energy, but just don't back off his head and you'll be fine.

--====--

After the fight, descend down into the volcano.

--== End of the World: Crater ==--

You have a choice here, of either entering the doorway right behind you or fall down to the bottom and entering there. The doorway behind you leads to another crater where you have to sink down and enter the doorway at the bottom anyway, and they both take you to the same room.

--== End of the World: Volcanic Crater ==--

In these next few areas, you can see glimpses of other worlds in the walls, including the trees and small towers from Sleeping Beauty, the front door of the Dwarves house from Snow White, stones from Cinderella, and even Beast's Castle in a small circle on the wall.

You'll know you're at the final room when you have to jump through the portal.

--== End of the World: Linked Worlds ==--

Here you'll have to fight wave after wave of Darkballs, Angel Stars, and Invisibles to chip away at the heart-shaped door. Once the last piece falls, you can walk through to the final room.

--== End of the World: Final Rest ==--

This is the last save point in the game. Through the next door is the final boss fight and end of the game. You still have some stuff to do before entering, however.

Gather your 9 Gales and head back to the Synthesis Shop to make the Ultima Weapon. You are now eligible for the Hades Cup and any Optional Boss fights.

Note that once you “beat” the game and the final boss, there is no save point, meaning you can re-load and be back at Final Rest. Therefore, you can complete the game now, and come back later and do all the other stuff, and beat the final boss again if you like.

--== End of the World: Door to Darkness ==--

--== Boss Fight: Ansem ==--

You appear to be back on the Destiny Islands, though a little messed up. Approach the secret spot by the shack to start a cutscene. Walk toward Rikku for another cutscene and to start the fight.

This fight takes on many forms. Stay with it and identify the weak point of each one.

Stage 1: Ansem
Ansem fights with his Heartless guardian. His main attacks are more or less just the guardian punching you. He does have one attack where he creates a large magic orb around himself in an instant, damaging anyone that touches it. He'll also sick the guardian on one of your party members. If it attaches to you, it will periodically do damage, in addition to replacing your Attack command with Freeze, where he holds you and sucks out even more HP. Finally, he has an attack similar to Rikku's where he throws spinning blades of energy everywhere. They can be deflected back at him for tech points.

The only thing you have to do here is lock on and attack. Assuming you have the Ultima Weapon, this battle should be over fast.

After the fight, he retreats to the center of the island.

Stage 2: Darkside

In the center, our old friend Darkside appears again. He is a lot stronger, but so are you. The strategy here hasn't changed much, lock on to his hand and pretty much ignore anything he's doing.

Stage 3: Ansem II

Ansem comes back out after Darkside falls. This time, both Donald and Goofy are barred from the fight. His basic attacks haven't changed much, nor has the strategy. He is faster now, which makes it harder to get close to him despite the smaller area.

He does add two more attacks this time: Dark Rocket and Power Surge.
Dark Rocket, he turns himself into a projectile by ramming you, similar to Rikku's attack using the darkness portals. All you have to do here is either block it or cast Aero and let him hit you. Either way will knock him out of it. Power Surge is your generic shockwave attack. The guardian will go underground and bust out using a darkness portal. This creates a rather large shockwave, especially since he does it repeatedly. Dodge roll in circles around Ansem to dodge it.

Stage 4: World of Darkness

Why do game creators see it necessary to make the final boss a huge... thing, call it ultimate evil, give it massive weaknesses, and virtually no way to defend itself?

Well whatever. This fight takes place in stages as well. The first is with just you and this battleship. It's weak point is the giant Ansem at the top of it. His only attacks are him flailing that huge Soul Eater about and calling in a laser squad. Soul Eater is easily blocked during your combos, and the lasers can be fooled by flying around a bit.

Bit Sniper

- Note that throughout this entire fight, there will be little bat things that, when killed, release some HP balls. These are called Bit Snipers, and are the only non-boss enemy not to have a journal entry. I think these are the things that create the lasers during the battle, but I'm unsure.

Stage 4.2: Room Core 1
Ansem will retreat into the heart of the ship, and a portal will open. Sora flies in. You'll face a few waves of Shadows, then this punching bag thing appears. Hit it a few times and this stage will be over and the ship weakened.

Stage 4.3: Artillery
You now have to “disable” the artillery at the top of the ship. It shouldn't take but a few hits each, and the defenses are weak, usually just a couple stray shots from the artillery itself. Once they are all destroyed, a new portal will open. You'll have to fly through this one manually.

Stage 4.5: Room Core 2
You'll run into Goofy here, in addition to a bunch of Darkballs. You have to clear the room again to make the orb appear, and destroy it to further weaken the ship.

Stage 4.6: Face
Way at the head of the ship (literally), the entire face is the weak point. There is some artillery down below that might hit you occasionally, but beyond that the only attack is an omni lightning attack like Ursula's. Stay locked on and beat on it, retreating only to heal if you need. Once it goes down, a portal appears in its mouth.

Stage 4.7: Room Core 3
The final set of Pure Heartless, Invisibles. Clear the room to save Donald and beat on the punching bag to explode the head (how come nothing this drastic happened for the other rooms?)

Stage 4.8: Main Core
Finally, the shield at the center of the ship goes down. Rush in and slash the pumpkin-looking purple thing. You can take out the artillery around the room, but it shouldn't bother you that much.

Stage 4.9: Ansem 2
The captain goes down with the ship. He comes out again to try to save the sinking ship. His attacks haven't changed from earlier. Hack and slash till this ship finally goes down.

End

--====--

Enjoy the ending cutscene. :)

You also get treated to a special ending entitled
“Another side, another story”
If you:
- Found all Dalmatians
- Won the Hades Cup
- Sealed all Keyholes, including 100 Acre Wood and Olympus Coliseum.
(Monstro does not have a Keyhole).

When you walk away
You don't hear me say please
Oh baby, don't go
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight
It's hard to let it go

You're giving me too many things
Lately you're all I need
You smiled at me and said,

Don't get me wrong I love you
But does that mean I have to meet your father?
When we are older you'll understand
What I meant when I said "No,
I don't think life is quite that simple"

When you walk away
You don't hear me say please
Oh baby, don't go
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight
It's hard to let it go

(Whisper)So simple and clean...

The daily things that keep us all busy
Are confusing me
That's when you came to me and said,

Wish I could prove I love you
But does that mean I have to walk on water?
When we are older you'll understand
It's enough when I say so
And maybe some things are that simple

When you walk away
You don't hear me say please
Oh baby, don't go
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight
It's hard to let it go

Hold me
Whatever lies beyond this morning
Is a little later on
Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all
Nothing's like before

When you walk away
You don't hear me say please
Oh baby, don't go
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight
It's hard to let it go

Hold me
Whatever lies beyond this morning
Is a little later on
Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all
Nothing's like before

Hold me
Whatever lies beyond this morning
Is a little later on
Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all
Nothing's like before

The guyser area is also a good way to get your synthesis items if you are trying to get the Ultimate Weapon! I was toying around with it, and if you don't get the chest while in the mini-worlds, if you go back the heartless will reappear! So far I've gotten two bright crystals in five minutes from Defenders, compared to running around Traverse Town and Hollow Bastion for an hour each and not even obtaining one. It's worth it to play around at the guysers for a while! (:

Reply to"'But then when it comes to those flying devil-looking Heartless, I ALWAYS die!! And it takes literally a billion years for Goofy and Donald to recover! I use Cura on all of us but it never helps. They die, and I'm left alone with like 5 Heartless that have a lot of health and I always loose. Hints or advice on how I can pass this part???"

Hi there! Just use Ragnarok and Strike the whole time, when you run out of MP, pick up the bubbles the heartless drop. Also, check your settings for Donald and Goofy, set it where Donald heals everybody all the time, it's extremely useful.

I'm going to go to the End of the world this weekend but before i do that i'm gonna finish up on the trinities, dalmatians, etc. I also think if you guys are planning on taking on sephiroth in the hades cup be at least level 75 it will be alot easier at that level(the reason I know this is because I have beaten the game before but I didn't get 100%. I just want to see the ending you get for getting 100%. I juest need to level up a bit more but I'll be good If you need tips for beating sephiroth look it up on youtube because that's how I learned how to beat him.
