Is there a walk through walls code for Pokemon Red on a game genie? I picked a gameboy game genie at a retro gaming convention back in november 2023 and can't find a walk though walls cheat code online. Anyone out here know of a code for it if it exist????

So, I was messing around with encounter cheat codes in Pokemon yellow when I stumbled across this

Upon entering it and walking into the grass, the entire screen goes black for about 6-10 seconds, before a strange music starts playing and a weird Pokemon with a black sprite and red lines appears. After this, the entire game softlocks while the music continues. I'm no stranger to the weird glitchy Pokemon of gen 1, but this was just, different. Does anyone know what's going on here?

All key items are invisible, I’m able to deposit them into the PC and they show but when I tried to hand Jasmine the secret potion nothing happened. I previously used game shark codes is there a fix for this? Should I just start over from scratch?

I just figured out a solution but there may be a catch('em all!) with Key items. I know this looks like a lot but I just gave as much detail to help anyone follow in 9-10 Steps. I know this post is 2years old now but if I just found it Today, someone else might. I couldn't find an answer to this or my issue anywhere! I broke this up into 2 comments

SYSTEM:
I used VBA emulator with a Pokeman Crystal ROM. Not sure how this will work on other platforms.
OBJECTIVE:
To fix the glitch from the infinite masterball cheat in Pokemon Crystal (Gold & Silver maybe?) where infinite masterballs appear as "Masterballx0" in the wrong pocket of the Pack.

THE CATCH ('em all!):
For Key Item pocket, see my other comment

This should work without issue if the MB's are stuck in the other 3 pockets (items,balls,TM/HM).

This walkthrough is replacing the MB's with an item cheat, then acquiring said item without cheats so it appears you only have 1 in your pack. Then use another item cheat for a different item to fix the glitch, and finally sell/toss said item to confirm. Since key items cannot be sold or tossed, I cannot guarantee this will work, but if you want to resurrect your game it's worth a shot.

PREP (Save a backup file)
Step 1: deposit all items you want to save in PC (or sell/use items if full) (this gave me cause to catch some more pokes and use a few tm's on them as my PC was full)
Step 2: Completely empty Pack of everything but the infinite masterballs (MB's). Make sure to withdraw masterballs from PC if you tried to store them there (arrow down 1 below zero to withdraw infinite, repeat as many times as necessary, for me, just once).

CHEAT CODE 1
Step 3: use the item game shark cheat to replace MB's in specific pocket and slot, find an item code that corresponds with the "pocket" your glitched MB's are in. The item you choose has to be one you can acquire in game without cheats. Anything found at a Mart should work (healing, TM's, pokeballs), but this can be tricky for the "key Items" in the game. (for key items see other comment!)
I used codes for crystal I found on radiotimesdotcom (use ctrl+f and type "item" to find it quickly)
EXAMPLE CHEAT 1:
My glitch was in the "item" pocket with infinite masterballs ("masterball x0")

From the list linked above I found this for my "Item" Pocket
Slot 1 01XXB8D5 91XX93D8"
Combined with an item code (I used Antidote because it's the cheapest at Mart)
"09 ANTIDOTE"
So the inputted code was "0109B8D5 910993D8"

Step4: Verify that Masterballs were replaced with the item you selected. For my example I now saw "Antidote x0" instead of "Masterballx0" in my "item" pocket.
Step5 (optional): not sure about other emulators but with VBA you have to uncheck the cheats. If the cheat is still active the solution will not work.

MART
Step 6: go to any Mart and purchase 1 of whatever item you used in Cheat 1... E.g. Antidote
Step 7: Check pack, if you used the right cheat, you will see Masterballs replaced with the item you chose. (I cannot guarantee the cheat codes, so try another item code/cheat site if it failed)
IMPORTANT!: Do not toss/sell/deposit the item yet, it will glitch back to infinite (x0)

CHEAT CODE2
Step 8: use the same pocket code you used but select another item code associated with that pocket (e.g. 01XXB8D5 91XX93D8 + 0B ICE HEAL becomes 010BB8D5 910B93D8)
Step9 (optional): See step 5 uncheck cheats.
Step 10: at this point I believe the glitch is fixed, but this step confirms it quickly. If Cheat 2 worked right, your first cheat item should be replaced - e.g. "ANTIDOTEx1" is now "ICE HEALx1" - Toss/Sell the item. If done the same way as me, you will now have an empty pack and your game is fixed!!! Learn your lesson and stop using cheats /s. SAVE and backup is always recommended.

Hold start button until menu bar on right appears. Then, simply go down to save. If it has a problem saving then the battery needs replacing.

Hold down start it should come up with a menu bar on the right side of the screen. Go down to save.

Hi there, I just was looking for some question like that so I could give a simple answer if someone else would struggle with it.

Even though I used a cheat, to pass the guy in the first place, I also found another "simple way" to get there without braking the code.

The biggest problem is that function in the code wasn't executed while finishing the game. Therefore what you need to do is to beat the Johto Elite once again. Then (after the end titles) you should have a phone call from prof. Elm saying that he's got something for you. If your pack isn't full, he should give you the Ticket.

Finally figured it out.

You first have to go to Saffron City and talk to the Girl on the second floor of her house to know she's lost her dolly and she'll give you the train pass if you retrieve it on Vermilion City

Go to celadon city mart all the way up on the top floor and buy soda pop f on the vending machine. Give it to the guard on the right side of town and you will be able to get the marsh badge from saffron city.

The move deleter in Black Throne city can delete any moves, including Hm's. Also, the daycare can delete Hm's if you leave the Pokemon in there and run around a while for it to level up and learn a new move, tho this is very unreliable and the move deleter is definitely better.

Because every elite leader has every type of those, so try to catch these types of Pokemon because I have tried it before and train them as high as you can. Good luck in your journey.
