How to Fast Travel in Dying Light 2 Stay Human

Although you can parkour on rooftoops and glide around in Dying Light 2 Stay Human there will be times when you will just want to get to a specific location as quickly as possible. There is a fast travel mechanic in the game, but it will not be available to you right away, in order to unlock it you will need to progress to a certain point in the story first. This How to Fast Travel guide will tell you everything you need to know.

How to Unlock Fast Travel

Fast travel is unlocked in Dying Light 2 Stay Human once you reach The Central Loop and complete the quest 'Let's Waltz!'. At this point in the game there will only be a limited number of places acting as fast travel spots. In order to unlock more locations you must capture the metro stations scattered throughout Villedor. The game does not allow you to fast travel to Nightrunner's Hideouts or safe houses.

How to Fast Travel

Once you have unlocked the fast travel mechanic you just need to open your map, find a legend icon that has three white arrows pointing to the right, hover over the icon, and hold your fast travel button. If you are playing Dying Light 2 Stay Human on a next-gen console or a PC with an SSD there will be no loading time.

How to Find Metro Stations

Metro stations in Dying Light 2 Stay Human appear as '?' icons on your map until you discover them. In order to find metro stations you need to either use your binoculars or be in proximity to them. The easiest way to locate metro stations is to climb to a high spot with a clear view and scan your surroundings for a red metro sign with the binoculars.

How to Capture Metro Stations

In order to capture the metro stations you find you need to find the main switch in their electrical room and turn it on. Although the metro stations will be controlled by your enemies you do not have to kill them, you simply have to turn the main switch on. Keep in mind that there will be some metro stations that will require you to first activate the emergency generators. This will likely involve lockpicking a locked door, hitting the switch behind the door, going down the elevator shaft and turning on the generators in the basement. Also remember to loot whatever you can find in the metro stations while you have the chance because once you capture it all the loot inside will disappear. You are guaranteed to find high-quality loot at metro stations. The best time to attempt capturing metro stations is during nighttime when there are fewer enemies inside.

Metro Station Locations

In total there are 9 Metro Station Locations in Dying Light 2 Stay Human and finding them all will unlock the Tube Map Achievement/Trophy. None of the metro stations are missable, and you can still find them after you complete the story in free-roam. Listed below are all 9 metro stations and their locations.
