Loot Corpses

An easy way in which to get more Old World Money is to loot the corpses you come across. You won't get much in the way of loot from the ordinary zombie corpses, but you can expect to find decent items on the rarer ones, bandits and humans. The items you loot can always be sold to vendors for money when you visit them.

Sell Unwanted Weapons and Equipment

Throughout Dying Light 2 Stay Human you will find weapons and equipment that you can add to your inventory. Look to get rid of things that you no longer need or have no use for by selling them to vendors for cash.

Explore Dark Zones

You will be able to get valuable loot by exploring Dark Zones. These areas are densely populated and heavily guarded during the day but if you explore them during the nighttime you will be able to make a lot of money selling the valuables you find there to vendors.

Collect Crystal Cores

One item in particular you should keep an eye out for when exploring Dark Zones is Crystal Cores as they can be sold to vendors for a lot of cash. Crystal Cores come in three colors which define their rarity. Below is the amount of money you will receive for selling them.

Violet Crystals:

800 Old World Money

Military Convoys

Although the abandoned Military Convoys are surrounded by the undead hordes, they are a good source to get valuables, weapons, and items that can be sold to vendors for a good price. To access the loot, you will need to make sure you bring some lockpicks with you.

Side Quests and Encounters

Completing the various side quests in Dying Light 2 Stay Human will enable you to earn a lot of money. You can also complete encounters, these will be marked with blue quest markers and can be completed quickly to earn a small amount of cash.
