Explorer's Shores Events Guide for Dragon Quest Builders 2

Explorer's Shores events are island excursions that you can complete to earn a special infinite item, the islands are randomised and will change each time you visit. Check out our Explorer's Shores Events Guide to find out everything you need to know about them.

There are several islands you can visit by participating in Explorer's Shores events and they will allow you to gather some rare items. Each of the islands will cost you hearts to visit, the amount of Gratitude points will depend on the island. Upon visiting an island you will be given a two checklists to complete which if you manage to find all the harvestable items on each list will reward you with a special infinite item, such as Wood or Grass. As the islands are randomised you need to make sure you pick up all of the items before you leave otherwise you will have to complete the whole checklist again when you return. The items on the checklist appear on the map in chronological order so if you miss something at the start of the checklist you will need to return to the landing zone and begin again. To cross off the items on your check list you need to approach and interact with them.

You will find mini-bases on the islands which you can destroy, you will not however learn any new recipes or collect any items doing this. You can though recruit the island dwellers who tend to be skilled in building to help you with your base. Animals such as the dog in Furrowfield can also be recruited which will help you find items or chickens in Soggy Skerry which you can either use as food or keep alive to lay eggs. Collecting the special infinity items from each of the islands will enable you to visit further islands with a good base load of materials which can be used to construct rooms and other necessities quickly.

Grinding out the missions and base building in the Explorer's Shores events are worthwhile putting time into as it gives you the opportunity to find better materials and recipes.

Check out our How to Use Hearts Guide to find out how to use the Gratitude points you earn.
