It will certainly be interesting to see what Niantic does when it comes to Arceus. The easy way out, obviously, is just keeping Arceus a pure Normal Type Pokemon. However, another easy path Niantic could take is keeping Arceus’ type the same as when you encounter it. Under this idea, if you encounter a Raid Battle with Fire Type Arceus, for example, it will permanently remain a Fire Type should you capture it. This is one of the few ways that makes sense when it comes to Arceus, unless, of course, if Niantic finally adds more items than Evolutionary items to the game. We shall definitely see here shortly.
