10 Big Issues With Pokemon GO

Evolutionary Items

Now, no, there aren’t that many questions that Niantic presently faces when it comes to Evolutionary Items. The concept is pretty simple, right? All players have to do is spin PokeStops to obtain them, needing a little luck or enough persistence to actually find them. That, or they have to spin a PokeStop daily for seven days straight to have a guarantee of obtaining one of the seventh day of their streak. Not really complicated, huh? Well, at least for the time being, it isn’t. But that’s the thing: for the time being. As more time passes and more and more Generations come to Pokemon GO, a number of questions arise when it comes to these special items.

Hear us out…In the 1st Generation, there was no need for Evolutionary Items. However, with the 2nd Generation came the absolutely crucial need for them, and thus five different Evolutionary Items were create in order to assist eight different Pokemon with evolving. The 3rd Generation further increased this number to seven different Evolutionary Items, as Clamperl needs two of them to evolve into one of two different Evolutions. As you can see, this number continues to grow as more Generations come. The higher this number gets, the less and less likely a player has at finding the specific Evolutionary Item they are in need of. And it only gets worse from here, as the 4th Generation is notorious for having over ten different Pokemon that require some sort of Evolutionary Item in order to evolve.

The question now is how Niantic will handle this growing number in order to give players the fair chance at obtaining all of them? Will they increase the drop rates? Will they make certain Evolutionary items appear during certain periods of time? Or will they finally do as all Pokemon GO Players want, allowing them to be purchased in the game’s shop? Oh what to do, what to do, Niantic.
