10 Things Absolutely Broken In Pokemon GO

Evolutionary Items

The final thing that most players playing Pokemon GO consider broken - and annoying above anything else - is the concept of Evolutionary Items. If you aren’t aware of the Mainstream Pokemon Games, Evolutionary Items are needed by a number of Pokemon in order to evolve. Usually, these Pokemon must hold the items in these games, before being traded in order to activate their Evolution. Since Trading has yet to be included in Pokemon GO, a Pokemon that requires an Evolutionary Items must not only need said item in order to evolve, but they also must have the appropriate number of Candy in correlation to this. It’s already hard enough to find earn enough Candy to evolve certain Pokemon, but adding an Evolutionary Item on top of this with plenty of Pokemon adds a whole new level of difficulty to things.

To make matters all the worse, Evolutionary items can only be obtained through PokeStops. If that wasn’t bad enough, the drop rates of Evolution Items are less than 1%. This means that players could have to spin hundreds upon hundreds of PokeStops just to find one mere Evolutionary Item. That being said, however, a player can earn a guarantee Evolutionary Item from a PokeStop should they earn a Daily Bonus Streak of seventh consecutive days. This greatly speeds up the process of finding every last Evolutionary Item, but, unfortunately, you can still get duplicates from this given guarantee. When its all said and done, it usually takes a trainer about four to six months in order to find each and every Evolutionary Item. Like most of the items we listed before this selection, this is pretty crazy when you consider all things.
