10 Things Absolutely Broken In Pokemon GO
Evolving Swablu
Outside of both Magikarp and Wailmer needing the almost unrealistic number of 400 Pokemon Candy in order to evolve into their respective evolutions, so the same is require of Swablu in order to evolve into Altaria. That’s right, Swablu is not the first, not the second, but the third Pokemon that needs over triple the amount of Pokemon Candy that most Evolution Chains need in order to obtain their Final Stage Evolution. That alone should give us enough reason to have Swablu on this here list, but it doesn’t end there as to why Swablu is so very broken in Pokemon GO.
Unlike Magikarp and Wailmer, however, there is really no logic as to why Swablu has such a hefty price tag placed upon it so it can evolve. Magikarp has the excuse of being one of the worst Pokemon in existence, giving it a reason as to why it costs so much to evolve into the powerhouse known as Gyarados. Wailmer too, since it evolves into one of the biggest Pokemon you can find in all of Pokemon. But Swablu only evolve into Altaria, a Pokemon that isn’t all that big and one that doesn’t even exceed a Maximum Combat Power Level of 2000. Yeah, that is out and out ridiculous.
The only silver lining Swablu has to it is that it is much easier to find in the wild across all climates and regions than both Magikarp and Wailmer, as its Spawn Rate is determined upon its Normal Typing instead of its Flying Typing, which see is appear more often than not. Still, since players must obtain over 400 Swablu Candy in order to evolve into a Pokemon that has no busy being fully trained, it makes Swablu all the more useless than both Magikarp and Wailmer.

I generally disagree with most of your broken items, but I think it is because you know the Pokemon universe so well and might not appreciate differences that Pokemon Go presents. For example, Blissey didn't cause the gym re-works...Raids did. You mention Slaking as being overpowered, but he is one of the weakest gym defenders as he's insanely vulnerable to Machamp. Region Exclusives are awesome because of their uniqueness. What ruins them is the spoofers. There's multiple mentions of the game being too much work (level 40, magicarp, wailmer, Swablu), but that's part of the game. I'm level 39 and have been playing hardcore for nearly 2 years and am not turned off by having to work. ....then you go on to complain about Shinies being too common? Finally, you end with evolutionary items. You mentioned getting them for the 7 day streak, but underrepresented the importance. I've never been a loss for evolutionary items because I spin 1 stop per day.
