10 Things Absolutely Broken In Pokemon GO
Region Exclusives
If you’re an avid player of Pokemon GO, odds are this selection of ours will hit home with you. This right here, the fact that certain Pokemon are exclusive to a given region across the world and cannot be found anywhere else, is one of the things that irk players most in Pokemon GO. Not only is it impossible to find Region Exclusive Pokemon outside the geographical location they are locked to, but it has also been discovered that you cannot even find them in Eggs in other countries as so many first believed.
To make matters all the more worse, the number of Region Exclusive Pokemon continues to grow. Back in the the 1st Generation of the game, only four Pokemon were introduced as Region Exclusive: Kangaskhan, Tauros, Mr. Mime and Farfetch’d. The 2nd Generation added two more, including the likes of both Heracross and Corsola. And then came the 3rd Generation, bringing, that’s right, NINE more Regions Exclusives with Volbeat, Illumise, Zangoose, Seviper, Lunatone, Solrock, Torkoal, Tropius, and Relicanth.
If all of this alone doesn’t prove that the concept of Region Exclusives is absolutely broken in Pokemon GO, the fact that Trading has yet to be added to the hit mobile game has to be the cherry on top that literally pushes things over the cliff. Because there is no way to even trade for Region Exclusives, players literally must travel across the globe (or cheat) in order to officially complete their Pokedex, something almost every player refuses to do. So. not. cool.
I disagree with all the 10 items.
This article is a joke.
I generally disagree with most of your broken items, but I think it is because you know the Pokemon universe so well and might not appreciate differences that Pokemon Go presents. For example, Blissey didn't cause the gym re-works...Raids did. You mention Slaking as being overpowered, but he is one of the weakest gym defenders as he's insanely vulnerable to Machamp. Region Exclusives are awesome because of their uniqueness. What ruins them is the spoofers. There's multiple mentions of the game being too much work (level 40, magicarp, wailmer, Swablu), but that's part of the game. I'm level 39 and have been playing hardcore for nearly 2 years and am not turned off by having to work. ....then you go on to complain about Shinies being too common? Finally, you end with evolutionary items. You mentioned getting them for the 7 day streak, but underrepresented the importance. I've never been a loss for evolutionary items because I spin 1 stop per day.
