Strongest Sun and Moon Pokemon
Pheromosa
It's one of only two Ultra Beasts to make this here list, but Pheromosa is easily one of the best Pokemon from Alola. Much like the Attack Form of Deoxys, Pheromosa has exceptional speed and offensive powers that can destroy other Pokemon Teams. But it doesn't have defense, much like its Deoxys counterpart, which makes it easily a one-hit knockout should the other Pokemon has a chance to attack. But if Pheromosa doesn't faint on the first turn, you better watch out. Pheromosa also has the chance to learn Quiver Dance to further improve the stats it loves most! Give it the chance, and Pheromosa will make quick work out of any opposing teams.
Xurkitree
Xurkitree, in one word, is scary. And it definitely deserves the title of Ultra Beast. Xurkitree has a Base Special Attack Stat of 173… That's almost at the level of the likes of Mega Mewtwo Y! And that same stat can easily be doubled if Xurkitree has the chance to knock out a Pokemon. It could definitely use some more speed, but Xurkitree can at least escape the dreaded paralysis with its typing. Not to mention, Xurkitree is one of the hardest Ultra Beasts to catch in-game since its Special Attack instantly doubles when the battle begins. Xurkitree can easily defeat a Pokemon of the same type with the power it has, whether in the game itself or in the competitive world of Pokemon.
Magearna
The last Pokemon that makes our list is Magearna, who could possibly be the best Pokemon in the entire Generation. Even 100% Zygarde and Ash-Greninja should be scared of this thing, seriously. It might seem slow, but Magearna can learn Gear Grind to sharply improve it. Magearna also has an incredible high Special Attack, something that will sharply increase if it knocks out another Pokemon due to its ability. Magearna also has the great typing of Steel / Fairy, just like Klefki, with great defensive stats as well. Magearna has everything going for it, and it will easily become one of the Ubers of the competitive world of Pokemon Play.
The Best Have Now Come
Well there it is, there it is! The best Pokemon of the Seventh Generation of Pokemon. There aren't too many, but these fifteen Pokemon have some serious skills! We thank you for reading, and we truly hope you enjoyed doing so. Don't forget to comment below with all of your thoughts; we'd love to hear from you!
Until next time, PokeFans! ;)
Passimian should not be here, yes I know about Bisharp and sure he may have similar stats, but that was not the point of Bisharp, the point of Bisharp was that he had access to STAB sucker punch to do huge damage with priority and steel typing to remove annoyances like sylveon, due to being a fighting type, Passimian is next to useless due to its low speed no matter what its attack and defences are. It can easily be outdone. If you're looking for a good fighting type stick to lucario or scrafty, something that knows what its doing and what its meant to do so can take down the bulky normal types.
Personally, I disagree with most of this list. This article contains many mistakes/typos.(Magearna's shift gear boosts speed, not gear grind.)Secondly, you wrote that magearna threatens complete zygarde. I suggests quite the contrary: Complete Zygarde is bulky enough to survive magearna's fleur cannon most of the time, and will knock out magearna with earthquake since it is faster. Also, Xurkitree, in my opinion, does not deserve the number two spot as it is heavily outclassed by tapu koko. Xurkitree does have high special attack, but Tapu Koko's electric eerrain-boosted attacks also reach that level. Xurkitree also suffers from the fact that it cannot function well without a choice scarf or it risks being eliminated by dugtrio, which Tapu Koko beats easily. Running a choice scarf on Xurkitree makes it susceptible to gound types, or incredibly weak to Alolan Marowak due to lightning rod, and the fact that it resists Xurk's coverage. Tapu Koko can pivot out of Alolan Marowak with uturn.
Great article, helped me decide my team for the game!
