Top 10 Things We Hope To See In Pokemon Sun & Moon

#9 - Continuation of Mega Evolutions

If you're worried about Mega Evolutions no longer being added to into Pokemon Sun & Moon, you certainly have good cause for concern. It's a bit of a scary thought that something as fresh and creative as Mega Evolution could have a one and done in the World of Pokemon, but that could easily be the case. It will all rest solely upon whether the company thought it was successful, and if it would even fit the scheme of the new games. A lot of older and even newer fans loved the idea of Mega and Primal Evolutions (Reversions), but it didn't stick well with some players. And because of all of this, what happened in the Sixth generation might just stay there.

As we said, Mega Evolutions brought a whole new life and chapter to what seemed like the same old / same old with the Pokemon Company and their games. They gave a number of Pokemon Favorites even more fame, and some lesser Pokemon a whole new outlook on life. They also have incredible powers, and who doesn't like that when exploring a brand new region. We just went over the constant change of Female Characters in the Anime Series, so you know we don't want to see that already where Mega Evolutions are concerned.

But if it sadly does come to an end in Sun & Moon, let's hope a new aspect gets thrown in as a replacement. The idea of Shadow Pokemon has existed ever since the Third Generation and has recently been revived in Pokken Tournament through Mewtwo, and if anything could take over for Mega Evolutions, it could be this theme. It would also fit quite nicely with the titles of Sun & Moon, since you see your shadow in Sunlight and shadows have been associated with darkness at the same time.

#8 - Better Rival And Antagonist Group

If you thought the Sixth Generation games of Pokemon X and Y were lacking in a number of area, specifically the storyline and the characters involved, you wouldn't be alone. There just wasn't really enough goodness or substance to make any of it stick with most fans, and this probably was why Pokemon Z never came to be (at least not yet).

Don't get us wrong, seeing a group of friends explore and find themselves in a brand new region is great, and seeing them do together is even more heartfelt, but the fact of them being just friends is it. What ever happened to the Garys of the Pokemon World? Where they antagonize and push you to your very limit? What about the Silvers of the World of Pokemon that made you think twice about the trainer you were and how you viewed others when you don't know their full story? What about the friendly Barrys that you could help love because they remind you of that best friend? And who could the famous N and all the wonderment that surrounded him? Where did all that go?

And what ever happened to the pure evil Antagonist Groups? Where Team Rocket was killing Pokemon left and right? Where Team Galactic was tearing apart time and space to rule the universe? Where Team Plasma was fooling everyone like a cult following? Team Flare had some good plots behind it, but it just felt short on most areas. Sure, they had the Ultimate Weapon capable of destroying the world. But that only made fans fall in love with the mysterious AZ, not the group themselves.

Sun & Moon need to get back to the basics where these two things are concerned, that is if the Pokemon Company wants a stellar set of games.
