Life Is But A Competition
When growing up, you're suppose to learn that life is an adventure. You're suppose to have fun and learn along the way, as you accomplish whatever goal you have in mind. But in the Pokemon World, life is but a competition. Almost every child wants to catch Pokemon and use them for their own will. They train these Pokemon in hopes of one day being able to defeat anyone in battle with them. They challenge countless number of trainers along the way, sometimes they lose and sometimes they win; either way, it's helping them get better and closer to their goal. After a certain amount of time, they begin to challenge gyms, where they receive badges to show just how good they are. After collect all eight badges, they can challenge the elite four and then the Champion. Sure, some trainers are nice and care for their Pokemon outside of battle. But not all trainers are this way... Some even push their Pokemon to the point of death, which just means that Pokemon was a failure. It doesn't matter what it takes, these trainers are willing to do anything to prove that they are indeed the best... Even if that means wasting precious time or losing someone that should have been a friend.
This is a harsh way to looking at the Pokemon World as a whole, but it's the way the life in it is promoted. Nothing matters to these kids besides being the best, and their parents promote and allow this competitive way. Like mentioned, some of these trainers are good people who care for their friends outside of battles. But others... Others just don't care... Much like the famous Motorhead song says, "It's all about the GAME, and how YOU play it. It's all about CONTROL, and if you can TAKE it."

i like the facts but they dont seen to disturbing to me
well... the creators of pokemon could start making things with more sense, and more adult like games, with pokemon kills and show the "war" the lt. surge talks about. since the kids nowdays don't care for pokemon, mostly the fans from the begining care about.

In #9 you said "All the stores in every town and city?", I think that some towns don't have shops as if they are refusing Silph Company's control. Some examples of these towns are Pallet, New Bark, Twinleaf, Littleroot, Nuvema, Vaniville, and Pacifidlog town.

Actually not all pokemon are godlike. There's Celebi which is probably the weakest legendary, only as strong as a Pinsir which is probably the most disturbing pokemon ever

Zekrom ravaged the world with lighting,resharam burnt it,kyurem froze most of unova and ate people and pokemon,yveltal eledgedly destroyed most of the kalosian civilisation,xearnias (excuse mispelling) was only bothered healing the land after and zygarde killed hundreds for littering

For God sake, an't pokemon world people just be vegetarian? The cookie's shape was only of magikarp, it was not a magikarp definitely. They can just eat miltank milk and soyabean for protein? Miltanks really give a lot of milk...........
well, its just a cartoon, and a game, tho the ghost pokemon's pokedex descriptions are kind o distrurbing HAHA
So true, sometimes I look at phantump's pokédex entry's and think to myself "hmmmmmm children, fascinatingly disturbing" and then realize that it's fine because since the children passed on already so it's not like they took child souls[color=purple][/color]

In the pokon world you can catch legendary Pokemon's but in the show it is forbidden? Wth
Not everything is a Pokemon, Nuzleaf and Shiftry are not trees, Phantump and Trevenant are ghosts possessing trees, and Klefki collects keys.

When you were listing everything is a pokemon, and then proceeded to describe said examples, I got my niece pokemon 'Gold' and she got to the point where she got her little blue alligator 'totodile' curb-stomped by something called sudowoodo, apparently a living tree. She is now in fear that trees will attack her......... I told her to make friends with fire.
