10 Things We Wish Pokemon Would Do
Let Ash Age
Okay... Ash has been ten years old for almost twenty years. Either he has found the fountain of youth, or the Conspiracy Theory of him being in a coma is true. Or... The Pokemon Creators just want him to remain a child to keep the younger audience. The latter is most likely the case, but the two formers are pretty interesting. I totally understand why they would like to keep Ash as young as possible (and I sort of like the idea of my future children having the shot of still seeing him on screen), but the idea of him staying ten forever isn't logical. It also doesn't sit well with most die hard Pokemon Fans.
I don't why it's such a big to deal to not let him age. If you actually think about it, Ash would still be pretty young today. If he aged let's say six months per every region he travels through, he would still, at the present time, only be around thirteen years old. That's not bad for a series that has stretch as far as Pokemon has.
Another idea would be to replace Ash as a whole. The Pokemon Company has already other specials that aren't focused around Ash. I don't know how successful they have been, but they still went ahead and did. I could definitely see them doing this, if the wanted to revamp the entire series. If they do someday go through with this, I just hope it isn't as bad as a disaster as the Yu-Gi-Oh Series was.
In all likelihood, I can't image the Pokemon Company to go away from Ash, as they have almost twenty years of time and money spent into him. Most likely Ash will forever be ten, and there isn't anything anyone can really do about it. Except.... The creators...

1. More Mega Evos pls (e.g. Flygon, Swellow, etc.)
2. Ash in S&M anime...kinda sucks. (BRING BACK ASH'S PEAK CONDITION LIKE IN XYZ)

there are anamles in pokemon there just hardly mentioned like when ash saw real fish in misty's gym who says Pikachu's lv. resets just because he lost to a snivy doesn't mean snivy was lv 5 remember ash's frokie trained all the time I like how gary has matured I hope ash does win the pokemon leage but they still go on with the show and if ash falls in love Pikachu becomes #2 that's why he probably pretends to be dence
they already explained why he doesn't age but people seem to be ignoring it xD; basically awhile back he met a legendary pokemon and was granted a wish. . his wish was to be able to always be well what he does. on an endless pokemon adventure the pokemon granted it by keeping him young forever so he could travel around the world catching an training pokemon. . or something to that extent you could prolly look it up an get a better explaination ^^;

Thats the thing about the greedy bastards at pokemon co. They don't want longevity they want sales, on otherwards they essentially want to sell you the same game twice, three times if possible

Pokemon is for kids, and people get into it everyday. It would be weird to for new pokemon fans to see him be 16, also remember HO Oh from the first episode?

Have the manga characters in the same series as ash and his friends, disbanned team rocket, let Ash and the others age let ash be champion of all regions and let Ash catch every pokémon (all 721+)

Let ash be in a relationship.... we're not kids anymore... also, we need a more skilled ash... maybe they are doing it in pokemon xy but... its just too late.
I wish the games could let you choose your own path, to be good or evil to help or to destroy that would be pretty neat.

i like that idea. a lot of other games let you choose. so why not pokemon? choose to fight the main team of bad guys or join them.

i think the catching them all thing should be in some sort of easy mode; that way, kids could start getting into it and go back and try the harder modes. also, multiple saves. a fan game i played (pokemon uranium) had them so nintendo should have no problem pulling it off!

Ash becoming older, I and lots of people grew up with little cocky, reckless Ash the one that we love
Ash getting in a romantic relationship, maybe as an adult but as a child Ash should stay out of romantic relationships, not every protagonist should have a lover (harmful message to aromantic people) and the fact that friendship can finally be presented as the greatest thing of all is important.
