Tortimer Island

Tortimer island is an island paradise that you can go to to play minigames, collect rare bugs, fish & sea creatures & buy island-only furniture and tools with medals that you get from minigames.

You can't go to Tortimer Island straight away in the game. You need to unlock it. You unlock it when you pay your down payment and mortgage off. The next day, Tortimer will be outside your house or at the dock and will ask you whether you want to be able to go to Tortimer Island. After that, Kapp'n will be at the dock in his boat if you want to travel to the island. One trip costs 1,000 bells.

There are many minigames you can play at Tortimer Island. The list of available minigames changes everyday. There are many such as bug catching, fish catching, underwater searching, fossil matching, hitting a machine as many times as possible with a hammer, finding flowers, finding fruit in a maze and many more. You get medals depending on how well you did in the minigame. You get more medals if the minigame was on a higher difficulty.

There's so much to do at Tortimer Island. So it's best to pay off your down payment and mortgage as quickly as possible.
