Introduction

Animal Crossing New Leaf is the 4th English installment and the 6th Japanese installment of the Animal Crossing series. It is a simple, yet fun game that follows the seasons and events in the real world. If it is Autumn in real life then it will be Autumn in Animal Crossing New Leaf. It has no real ending which means you can keep playing it over and over again without getting bored.

There are so many things to do in Animal Crossing New Leaf. Need money? Go collect fruit and seashells and catch bugs, fish and sea creatures. Feeling hot? Go for a swim in the mysterious waters around your town. Feel like shopping? Just head up to Main Street, the famous shopping mall of Animal Crossing New Leaf. Feel like chatting? Go talk to your kind neighbors living around town. Feeling lonely? Invite a friend into your town and have a bawl. Need to get away from the town life? Just go to a far away island and enjoy a variety of different minigames.

For the first time in the Animal Crossing series, you are the mayor. You have responsibility over your town. You can make ordinances such as making flowers never wilt, make weeds appear less, get rid of cockroaches, make shops stay open earlier and later than usual and make the selling price of items 20% higher. You can also build public works projects such as bridges, lamp posts, benches, a sphinx, a Santa boot bench and the reset center. You can have up to 30 public works projects in your town.
