Festivale

In Animal Crossing New Leaf, a special event; Festivale, is held in February or early March. Every year, the date changes. During Festivale, the player must wander around town catching feathers with their net to give to Pavé; a male peacock who sets up an arch in the town hall. He will request certain coloured feathers, & you must get 3 of the desired colour. Giving Pavé the desired feathers, he will perform a dance & award the player with a piece of Pavé furniture or carper/wallpaper. There are 8 different types of feathers; red, blue, yellow, green, purple, pink, white & rainbow. Giving Pavé just 1 rainbow feather will result in him performing a special dance & giving the player a Pavé series item. There are 11 pieces of furniture, 1 carpet & 1 wallpaper in the Pavé series. If the player talks to villagers, they will offer to play a game or trade feathers. Winning the game will award the player with a feather, but losing it will deduct a feather from the player's pockets.

* During Festivale, if the player wants to get the pieces of the Pavé series faster, they can perform the abyss farming glitch; a glitch where the player enters the abyss & catches items in the abyss while under the beach. (more information about this glitch can be found in the Animal Crossing New Leaf cheats section) This will allow the player to catch up to 27 feathers at once. *

Festivale is one of the most fun, most exciting holiday events in Animal Crossing New Leaf, & has improved from the City Folk version. Festivale only happens once every year, so make the most of the day, & don't miss the holiday!
