How do you move toddler into new home?

I didn't think it would've been possible for a toddler to be in the house on it's own without any adults...
But try moving one of the parents into the house with the toddler and moving them out together? I wouldn't really know...
But I hoped this helped ..

Well, I just had a parent at a new home, and then whistled the toddler to come to the house with the Adult. It worked for me! I hope it works!

You can't I have that problem as well. Now my toddler owns the house and I can't get rid of the house.

I have that same problem it was fine with the first kid and now with the second one he won't move out to his parents

Same issue only I moved the parents into a new house while the he was an infant and he didn't go with them...now he owns the old house but I furnished it all for another married couple to have a girl ugh help

This happened to me to! I broke up the parents of a preteen and a toddler and had her remarry a different man, they move in together and now the preteen owns the house! :(

That's what happened to me! I deleted the dad and got the mom remarried and she has 2 twin girls with the other dad and now the toddlers own the house and the mom lives with her new husband. Now the other husband and her are getting divorced and I want the mom to move back in with the toddlers.

Help I moved a family into a new home and the baby hasent moved with them I want to get the married couple back in the house with the baby and live there again. But how.

When you click on an empty house you have a bunch of options and one of them is move a sim - DON'T do that one. Next to it, you have the option to move a household for 8,000. It's a lot cheaper and more permanent than 5,000 for each sim.

This happened to me, I had 2 Sims who has a preteen as a whole family then I made them divorce, and my female sim got married to a different one and they moved in that house but the other male sim (father) is with the daughter in a different house.. So I just have to whistle her.. Which just ruined my game because I spent a lot of time saving for the beachside escape last year.. Mhmm

You can move a baby!
If you bought the new home and you want to transfer the family plus baby, click on the new home, click "view house", then add rooms, then the game will allow you to move the family

All you have to do is wait for them to get older

All I know is you can divorce the parents, then move one of them, and make them good friends and move them into each other's house and remarry them. Then I don't know what to do.

I am having the same problem I kicked my Adult sim out of the house then I wanted to move them in with another guy I wanted the mom to marry I made them good friends and the mom moved in with the other guy she moved in and then my toddlers r living in a house by themselves and idk what to do and I don't want them to stay in that house until they grow older because I want it to be one preteen and one toddler living with them I need help I'm so confused

You don't have to divorce the parents! All you have to do is when you want to move the whole family to a new house, you click on the house and it will give a couple options(add new sim, view house...etc). Scroll until you see the option to move a household. Then it will let you pick which family you want to move into the newhouse. This costs 8,000 simoleans.

The same thing happened to me. I deleted the dad box I wanted the mom to be married to a sim I created. I wanted then to have his last name so I moved mom toddler and baby to a empty house and when the mom moved in with her new man the kids stayed. I don't know how to move them. So if anyone has any clues please tell me. IPod touch 4th gen.

I have 2 sets of families I want to move in together. They are both divorced and engaged. Is it possible to move them in together??

I made the toddler and the Adult 'good friends' and then I could click 'ask to adobt

I had the samé problem! I also divorced them, and now the child lives on it's own!!
- well, you can remove the child from town and have a new one
- or, you can try getting the child the ones on the other house of your married couples!!

That happened to me too. I tried to move a father and toddler off a boat into a house and ended up stranding the preteen on the boat. The father can't move back in because they can't have a relationship that will end in 'partner' where they can move in. The best I could do was have adults come and take care of the tasks that a preteen can't do for herself. Later I made her a teen and she was fine living alone on the boat. When I finished the Adult phase I made her an adult right away. I think this happened because the toddler was adopted using the phone instead of brought up from an infant crib. Since then I don't move any families with adopted Children.

U did the right thing by divorcing them, what I did is when I was in that situation except the toddler didn't have parents, I made the toddler good friends with another sim and eventually you get the option "Ask to be adopted" and there you go. Hope this helps and also, this only works if the toddler is living in a house by itself

You get the toddler to ask the parents to "move in"

Okay I deleted my toddlers parents and sent the toddler to a new home by whistle. Then I clicked on the toddler and selected ask to adopt now the toddler lives with the new sim!

Make the toddler and the parent become good friends then click the parent and click as to be adopted. It worked for me

Both my sim parents have moved on. This left a toddler and baby alone in the house. I have been able to get the toddler to be adopted by making her friends with an Adult but not having any luck making friends with the baby. Will I have to wait until the baby becomes a toddler before I can re home her?

1) delete the toddler's parents.
2) make sure the toddler are a good friend of the new parent/Sims
3) use the toddler to ask, 'ask to be adopted' to a good friend

Help I deleted the husband and tried to move the mom and her toddler daughter into her friends home so they could be roommates but it only moved the mom and now her toddler owns the house. What do I do!

If you want the baby to just love with one of the pare at you have to relocate the whole house hold to a new house that you want them in and they get divorced and have one of the Adult Sims move into a friends house or a new one.

Make them move back in with the toddler (probably make them divorce again, then move them in with the todler separatist and get them back together) and then do click the house you want them to all move to and do relocate household and select that family. Hope this helped😊

Age toddler to teen and move it to it's parents' house.

You hafta build a new house, select "relocate household" it costs $8000, then select the family you wanna put there.

Divorce parents then get one of the parents to be best friends with the baby and then it will say move in.

You were supposed to move the household. Just figured it out now💙

You could've selected relocate household on the empty house.

There is a way to adopt a sim child. You have to pick a sim that you want to adopt the kid and then you have to make that sim and that sim child good friends and then it should let you have an option to adopt the child. Hope this works for you! I tried it and it worked!

You cannot move the toddler into a new he until they turn into a teen

I was trying to figure this out too. I recently divorced my Sims and I wanted the baby to live with his mom. I was playing around with it and this isn't what I learned.

-have a sim take the baby out of it's crib
-place the crib in the inventory
-put the crib in the house you want the child at
-have a sim pick up the child and go to that house
-place the baby in the crib at it's now newly home

I just figured it out! Ok,I had a family (mother father toddler daughter) then I divorced the parents. The father moved in with a rich girl and the mother stayed with the daughter. I wanted the mom to remarry to this rich French guy who is an Artist so I let them move into the small house that belonged to the mom and then relocated the household into his fancy French house which was empty so I didn't have problems like you guys did. Play pat a cake with the toddler until they are good friends rhey menaing the person you want to adopt the toddler then it will say ask to adopt

If you go the Adult to be the toddler's best friend you did it wrong the adult has to be the toddler's good friend when the adult is the toddler's best friend you can click on ask to adopt

I had the same issue, I had two married Sims with two infants. I built a nicer house and wanted them to move in there, it wouldn't let me so I divorced the mother and father and gave the nice house to the mother. After a long time, I finally got the two sims married. I moved both the cots and the father into the new house. I had one of the infants grow into a toddler and now even though the toddler has it's bed at the new house it still lives in the old house with it's infant sibling, and the toddler is best friends with the mother and friends with the father. AND the little infant's cot in the new house appears with an add sim symbol above it's head.😕

You can adopt babies, toddlers, preteens, and teens into new homes, but the parents have to be deleted first, otherwise the adopting option will not appear. As for the people who divorced the parents and the parents remarried into different homes without the child, you can't adopt the kid back into the family because technically they already have parents. You have to delete both biological parents for the kid to be adopted again, otherwise they will live in the house by themselves until you grow them into adults. If you really don't want to delete the parents, just make a room in one of the new Houses for the child and pretend that they live there. That's all you can do, really.

Ik having the same problem and there's no way to fix it 😭 I've just abandoned the kid and got another lmfaoo.. Im not the best parent.

Sadly other than buying a house or making the child an orphan, I can’t find a way to do it! The child I need to move into the new house I created in a crib and moved that family as the 24 hours was ticking:( the family is now in one house and the baby owns a house. Really the only ways are to buy a new house and move the family or make the child an orphan :(
