Recover from Sleep Mode

If your mouse or keyboard doesn’t work while your computer Sleep mode, your computer won’t turn on. Follow these steps to prevent this from happening.

How to Create a User Account

1. Click the Windows Button located on the lower left edge of the screen then type in “Run” without the quotes and press Enter.





2. On the dialog box, type in “devmgmt.msc” without the quotes and click OK.





3. Click Mice and other pointing devices and right click whichever mouse device you have. Click Properties.





4. On the Power Management Tab, tick the Allow this device to wake the computer checkbox. Do the same for the keyboard.

Alternatively, you can access the Device Manager by following these steps

1. Click the Windows Button located on the lower left edge of the screen then click
   Control Panel.





2. Click System and Security.





3. Click Device Manager.
