How to setup your own Adhoc Connection
  • Click the WiFi icon near the Date and Time located at the lower right edge of the screen and then click Open Network and Sharing Center.

  • Click Set up a new connection or a network.

  • From the list, click Set up a wireless ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network and then click Next.

  • Input the Network Name, make it unique as possible so you can and don’t change the Security Type. Input the security key so no one can access your network anonymously.

  • Wait for the process to finish.

  • Here is the information of your own Ad hoc network. Ad hoc networks are usually used as a substitute if there are no routers available in your area and want to do file sharing, LAN gaming and many more.
