Would someone please recommend the perfect weapon to KILL the Lagiacrus(also put how to get it, please)

I beat it with a Quarpeco gun and WyvernFire amunition. Try this and tell me if it works for you too.

Best way In my opinon, is The Thunderclap Longsword. As he's weak against the element.. You get it from weaponcrafting you need a moderate amount of things though... :/

In my aponion you need the thunder clap or the golem blade.

Problem with the Thunderclap is it requires Lagiacrus parts to make, therefore he wouldnt have this problem. A lance seems to be pretty effective, youtube videos on how to fight it in the arena are pretty good teachers on how to fight it like that. Otherwise I've seen him beat by any bowgun that has the shield ability so you can block those occasional hits that might actually land while your away from it, Longswords are pretty good and I beat him with a Great Sword(I believe it was the ?Commander's Sword? Or it's upgrade, either way it was a slug-fest and I wouldn't reccommend it.)

The perfect weapon would be a high damage sword and shield with fire element like djin you get it from bone copper

I thing any of the rathlos grt swds would be good thats what I killed him with then later I got spiral heat from angator
