Hi there.
 
 I have a urgent question.
 I bought this game a couple of days ago, and enjoy playing it. But sometimes I can't pick up Items. When i slayed a monster, and it's dead, I walk to it, and I see the press A button on the screen. But there is a red cross in it. This is also if I go to the supply box, the red box, the bed (In Quest's) or pick up mushrooms, whetstones, etc.
 Sometimes a run a bit and come back, and then it does work. It is very anoying. For example: At the 1 star Quest Get 5 horns, I had to slay >30 of those deers before I could collect 3.
 
 I play with the Wii remote (classic), not the controller.
 
 Please help? ps: It is offline play.

I am not completely sure but I think that your pouch simply might be full. Hope this solves your problem.

hello this is chuck from monster hunter tri 3(this is my guys actual name on the game)but the answer to that question is that instead of pressing A shake the wii remote,it always works

I use the controller but, for yor problem it might even be your remote. For the kelbie horns, you have to hit them with your sheild or side slap with the great sword, you should be able to get horns when there dizzy or "k.o".

If it is happening because you have the torch equipped you have to put it away first.

I had a bit of thinking to do on this too. It bugged me when this happened-shake the nunchuk and bingo! Sometimes it doesn't have the cross on it- I'm still trying to figure out why!
