I need help killing Gobul

its just hard for me to beat so can anyone tell me good armor combos or a recommended weapon, I used the switch ax. I would really appreciate this

I used the Royal Claw and the ludroth armor. I barely finshed in time though. I recommend going into the online part, going to the store, and purchesing a dragon toadstool. It can be grown on the farm and is used to make two very potent healing items. 1-Max Potion (heals all helth and increases to max) and 2-Ancient Potion (heals all health and stamina and increases both to max)

Honestly I went online and had full lagiacrus and the wyvern blade fire (Rathalos and Rathian longsword) before i did this quest. So I would suggest getting good armor and weapons online.

Querupeco armor and hammer work quite well....use ure little minion guy to ure advantage...let him take the damage...also, if you have it weak, and it just disappers in area 3....it went to area 8, book it there to finish it off, or it will recover

I was an offline noob when I did this but just get ludroth legs and arms and qurupereco rest and the peco flint thAt was how I beat it it's weakness is fire anyways

I know how you feel, beating it offline with a switch axe can be a pain. This time around I used a full set of Ludroth( I misread it, thought it had the faster swimming ability but it had current res. Still helpful) and ?Commander Sword? Great Sword. Probably not the greatest combo but killing him wasn't too hard(at least not compared to the Lagiacrus and his cursed double lightning tackle that kills me every time)

Set cha cha to thunder attack, bring plenty of healing potions and recovery items. Stun or paralasys resist is good too, as he often employs them. A solid tacitc is to fish him out of the water with frogs, and hit his underside, which is incredibly weak to slashing weapons.

Keep moving and try to flank him as much as you can, chopping the tail will negate his tail swipe ability which can paralyze you and his lantern broken will stop his stun attack, even though he will still waste time trying to stun you (giving you some time to get a few hits in or recover.

His weakness sign is visibly his lantern, it dims when hes weakened so thats yur queue to capture.

Remember, capturing can satasfy a kill requirement if you find it easier.
