My daughter has brought me an animal crossing wii game she has one already but when I went on my new game I had all her info on mine and I could not start afresh

That would be because the game activity is saved to the wii, not the disc. If you want to start afresh as you said, you will need an SD card. You can save your daughter's game activity to the SD card,then delete the game activity on the wii then if you take it out even if you use her game, you can start over. You might want two SD cards though, one for your game and one for her's. If you only use one then when your daughter goes to play, she might end up with her's, or she might end up with yours. Also, with the SD card you can save the in-game pictures and upload them online. Also, if you have to get a new wii or something, the SD cards will come in handy there because you can save all your game files and put them on the new wii. You could do the same thing if your daughter was to spend the night at a friends house and she brought a game her friend didn't have and they didn't want to start over.

You can talk to rover at the beginning of the game before you start playing and say "before playing" or "other things..." and click tear down a house. Then select your daughters character. Your all set!
