When you transfer your DS character you won't get any bells items. It seems useless. But really what gets tranfered with your character is your catalogue, so you can buy all of the items you had before.
I don't think your character will still be in your DS.
Hope I helped ![]()
When you transfer your character from the DS the character is still in the DS after. When you're done transferring you wont have your items and money tranferred only the catalogue and your character. The DS character should stay the same.
Only the complete list of your catalogue will be transferred and your character although he wont have headgear, face gear, etc. Nothing else. No bells, items or even the fish and bug lists will be transferred. Your character will still stay in Nintendo DS so that is good if you want to keep playing like me.

Some things in your cataloge will not be transferred over like a throne. Nothing else will be transferred over. Not even the clothes you wore originally. One Easter Egg I've noticed is once you have gotten off the bus and you start working for Nook he will tell you to meet everyone in the town. Once you get in Town Hall to talk to the mayor he will say "Haven't we spoken here before?" or something along those lines. Everything in the DS game will remain the same. Not even the letters you saved in the DS game will stay. I guess this is because if you attached something to these letters you could get money. Lt. Shadow Verwolf out.
