A gypceros is weak against fire, if you have any fire weapons, bring them, if not, then it doesn't matter.

Block when it flashes, you will know when it tries to flash you because it will bob it's head randomly from side to side, as if it is going to sneeze.

After you have finished your combo of attacks on the Gypceros, roll to get out of the way.

You can take pitfall traps with you to help you get extra hits in on the thing. pitfall trap: net and trap tool (net: spiderweb and ivy)

You should always let the gypceros make the first move, So you don't get taken by supprise and so you know how to counter it's moves. How to counter it's moves:

Peck at you: he will move in your general direction and peck at you. The best thing to do here, is to run to the side of it and hit it once or twice in the leg, and then roll away, ready for it's next attack.

Bob it's head from side to side: He is attempting to flash, and stun, you. You can either to one of three things to avoid it. Run out of range, block or dive. Blocking is most advisable.

Swing it's tail around: This is very annoying. Don't be fooled by it's stumpy tail. It can reach very far, so either prepare to block or jump out of the way. Spit poison: this will rarely hit you if you are paying attention. If it does, then use an antidote (recommended to bring when fighting gypceros). When it does this, you can run either to the side if it, or behind it, and hit it in the leg a couple of times.

Play dead: The gypceros will flop down onto the floor, as if you have killed it. It will lay motionless. If you get to close it will writhe around frantically. If you get hit by this, it can do you alot of damage, so it is advised either to wait for it to get up or you can get it up yourself. To get it up youself, run next to it's head so you touch it, then quickly run away again.

Fly up into the air: It will either change areas or go to a specific place in the area you are in. If it goes to the specific place in the area, then it will charge around for a bit. Don't try it hit it, it's pointless. You will either get mowed down or hit by the poison balls it is chucking around. You just wait for it to finish.

Jump up and down: indicates it is going into rage mode. It will deal higher damage and will have increased speed. If you are a reckless, then just attack it nomally. If you are slightly more sensible, then wait for it to finish, but I shall leave that decision to you =]

I think thats all...

Finally. You just have to keep going at it, it may take a couple of tries to get used to it's moves and to work out ways to counter-act it's moves.
