all you need to do is kill or beat the tigrex mission in the village elder quests.

Actually. The way to get the sword behind the house in MHF1 is by doing the urgent quest on hr 2 the one about the rathalos. The first time you're supposed to kill it. After that talk to the elder and the elder will tell you to pull it out.

ONLY YOU CAN DO IS COMPLETE THE ELDER QUEST AND IF YOU FINISH IT YOU CAN SI THE UNGRENT QUEST AND IF YOU SEE A SLAY THE RATHALOS GET THAT QUEST AND IF YOU FINISH IT TALK TOO THE ELDER AND HE GIVE TOO YOU HIS SWORD AND GO AT THE BACK OF YOUR HOUSE AND PRESS SQUARE BUTTON.... I HOPE YOU WILL GET THAT SWORD

Defeat Rathalos after Complete Ugprent Quest. Chief will talk you about sowrd and you able pull it out. If you don't defeat rathalos. It can't get pull it out but it's only Defeat Rathalos to Get Sword. This Capcom make I think.
