I did Capture a rathalos in the village.it was limping and flew to area 5.Icaught it in a pit trap and threw the tranqs at it.it fell asleep but it didnt say I completed the quest.wtf?!?! What do I do?

Yeah that drives me nuts too. What you may want to try is waiting until it goes to the area where it sleeps but don't follow it, wait for 20 secs and then go after it, when you arrive it should be settling down and going to sleep, kill the velociprey without hitting rathalos. Now set everything up with the pit fall trap and smack Rathalos with a combo whilst it's asleep. Then lure it to the trap and put it to sleep.

Its health has to be VARY low, limping is just not enough. It has to be vary close to death when you tranq it.

Yea...sumtimes that will happen meaning that Rathalos isnt entirely weak yet. He HAS to be really weak to be able to capture. Has happened to me about 5 times already.ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU HAVE MORE THAN MORE TRAP SET TOOLS AND NET PREPARE TO COMBINE (to make net combine spiderweb and ivy I tink). If you're doin the capture quest thats on forest and hills....just keep attacking EVEN when limping UNTIL he heads into the cave. There just lay down the trap and wait for it to get caught in it and tranqs it to sleep. Right there it should say you have captured the monster. If it still doesnt say you have captured the monster, just attack it while it's trapped and before he gets out tranqs it agian to sleep or if you want attack it til it gets out and capture it agian rite away and tranqs it to garanteen it's capture. Hope I helped.
